Tanya Gross grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In middle school, thanks to the MathCounts competition, she discovered a love for math and also for explaining it to others. It was the one area of life in which she was not shy. Tanya went on to graduate from Princeton University and Stanford University with degrees in electrical engineering. She worked as a digital ASIC engineer in Silicon Valley for 5 years, then switched gears to work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art before becoming a stay-at-home mother. She currently coaches the math team at the TAG School for Young Scholars. Tanya has been teaching at Math-M-Addicts since 2017.
