Sergey Levin came to Rhode Island from St. Petersburg, Russia, when he was 15. He was interested in soccer and mathematics from a very young age, but in the end mathematics prevailed. His biggest contest accomplishments are 6th place at the 1992 USA Math Olympiad, silver medal at the 1992 International Math Olympiad, and a Putnam Fellowship (awarded to the top 5 individual scorers in the prestigious William Lowell Putnam Competition) in 1995. After graduation from Harvard with a degree in Mathematics, Sergey entered the world of finance. Sergey has been teaching Math-M-Addicts since 2005.
