Gil Wiechman grew up in Israel where he attended Tel-Aviv University's Handesa'im Technical High School. As a high-school senior, he enjoyed playing a part in designing a new robotics course and teaching the course to freshmen students. He discovered the beauty of mathematics only as an undergraduate engineering student at Technion, Israel where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, a B.A. in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his graduate studies, he served as a teaching assistant in several courses receiving the Excellence in Teaching award numerous times. He is currently employed as a quantitative developer at D.E.Shaw group*. Gil has been teaching Math-M-Addicts since 2010.
