Geehoon Hong

Geehoon Hong was born in Seoul, Korea. While attending Cardozo High School in Bayside, Queens, he participated in a number of math competitions and enjoyed them tremendously. He was a USAMO qualifier, Top scorer in New York State for AMC 10, and Top scorer for NYCIML. Geehoon studied math at MIT (Bachelor's) and Georgia Tech (Master's). He volunteered to teach at a summer program at MIT and at the Atlanta Math Circle, as well as writing competition problems for the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament and the Georgia Tech High School Math Competition. Geehoon also taught a MATHCOUNTS class at the Speyer Legacy School. He is currently working at TrackMan, analyzing baseball data. Geehoon joined Math-M-Addicts in Fall 2014.
